Betty Earrings

These earrings were made to celebrate Betty's 50th birthday. Her daughter Michele asked me for some ideas, suggesting that we use citrine, Betty's birthstone. I told her that we could also include her own birthstone, aquamarine, joking that she is undoubtedly the other gem in her mother's life. She replied, "Yeah, I am a gem, aren't I?".
