I bought this stone on my first trip to Borneo, in the small stone cutting town of Martapura. I was attracted to its bright, silky luster and great color. It is not a typical cabochon (which are normally flat on the bottom) since it has a pavilion, or "belly", like a faceted stone. I think it would make a fantastic center stone for a ring or pendant.
