Chrysocolla Ovals

These oval cabochon gem chrysocollas were mined in Arizona. The wonderful teal blues for which they are known sometimes invites their misidentification as turquoise. Not so. Chrysocollas have a translucence - owing to the presence of quartz in the stone - that is lacking in turquoise. These gems would make stunning earrings, cufflinks, or almost anything else you have in mind.
