Tahitian Pearl Nail PendantContinuity of theme was one factor which led to this design, since the customer who commissioned the piece wears a Nail Band wedding ring. But the true appeal of the piece is its juxtaposition of a very fine cultured Tahitian pearl impaled on a white gold nail. It encourages us to reexamine our concept of adornment, especially because the combination of the sacred with the profane works so well visually.
